About Us

Taigh Cùraim Daycare Society was established in June of 2019 in the Village of Baddeck.

 

Taigh Cùuraim is Gaelic and means "to be entrusted in the care of". We are influenced by the methods of Montessori, brought to Canada by Mabel Bell.

 

We also incorporate the pedagogical influences of forest schools and Waldorf when inspired.
